EMET Sleeveless Dress Burgundy
The Emet sleeveless dress in burgundy is part of the Skins collection, a system of modular, pleated pieces designed to be worn in an infinite number of combinations.
It has a round neckline which sits close to the neck and a raw-edged hem which falls to the ankle, creating a translucency which can be layered up to conceal the skin underneath.
Like all Skins garments, it is knitted in one continuous piece, resulting in both an extremely comfortable, seamless construction and a zero-waste production process.
Manufactured in a technical sportswear factory for movement, ease and functionality, the Skins collection is a capsule of essential base layers for a modular wardrobe.
Their featherweight composition, innate breathability and innovative 18-gauge rib lends each piece to wearing as an individual base layer, or combining in colour, shape and size sequences for an always-evolving system.
Made from a blend of 55% recycled nylon and 45% recycled polyester. All of the polyester and nylon Gerbase. uses is certified to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, a worldwide association which prevents the usage of harmful substances in the production and dyeing of materials.
To care for your Skins sleeveless dress, we recommend machine washing at 30 degrees and ironing at a low temperature. Do not bleach or tumble dry, as this can damage the fibres. It can also be professionally dry cleaned.

It has become increasingly clear that we need to look after the earth better than we have been over past generations.
On our days off from running Gerbase. we are more likely than not spending our time in nature - on a beach surfing or climbing a mountain.
A responsibility towards nature is part of who we are, and something we want to keep focused on in every step of our value chain, to be able to make the best choices towards running a fully sustainable company, and to give our customer the peace of mind that they are not contributing to the demise of the globe. We aim to continue to improve our processes and to research new methods for improvements, and hopefully to also inspire others to search for a better, more sustainable future for our planet.
For our products to be as responsible as possible we always seek out the most sustainable and high-quality textiles and materials in the market. In addition, we aim to use recycled fabrics whenever possible for both synthetic and natural fibres. Where we use animal fibres we only use raw materials from animal friendly responsible sources and ensure traceability.
It is important that our products have longevity and that we extend the lifetime of the garments as much as possible. To that end our first step in sustainability is to develop products that aim to last a lifetime, not just a season. We are far from our goal to run a fully sustainable CO2 negative company, but we hope that these initial steps will be the foundation to build on during our journey towards best practices, and we aim to continue to be fully transparent with all our initiatives, what we are doing and how we can improve.
